Hon. G. W. Bush
President of the United States of America
White House
Washington, D.C.

Dear Mr. President:

An extremely high percentage of the people of Puerto Rico, deeply regret the wrong impression as being portrayed and projected to the U.S.A. by a small minority, and separatist groups.

Our group treasures our national security. Our group disagrees with the actual government stances, of Ms. Calderon. Our group is in favor of the federalization and separation of Vieques from the Main Island, to allow continuance of the Navy Maneuvers, if this is what it takes. Our group is in favor of Statehood as a means of dignity, with all the rights, and responsibilities it conveys. We are proud of our U. S. citizenship.

We regret the misleading, and wrongful signals being sent to the United States and abroad, of the people of Puerto Rico, as a whole.

Respectfully

Manuel F. Navedo
