MAY 13, 2002 LONDON, May 13 (AFP) - Latin American warbler Ricky Martin and heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne were Monday added to the line-up for a pop concert at Buckingham Palace for Britain's Queen Elizabeth. Royal officials said the pair would appear at the June 3 concert, part of a four-day extravaganza for the queen's golden jubilee on the throne. Other acts already announced include ex-Beatle Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton and Shirley Bassey, as well as newer bands. Martin, the hip-gyrating teen idol from Puerto Rico, is best known for high-energy songs such as "Livin' la Vida Loca." Osbourne, the British former Black Sabbath frontman, is a different matter. One of his past exploits was to bite the head off a live bat in concert, a trick the queen may not want him to repeat. Officials say they expect more than one million people to turn out for the June 1-4 celebrations, the high-point of the queen's jubilee year. It will include a classical music concert on June 1 -- also in the gardens of Buckingham Palace -- as well as a jubilee church services, a festival parade and carnival.
