This Latest Release Follows the Success of his Inspirational Debut CD 'The Spirit of America' and Captures the Passion and Romance of his Seductive Voice With a Collection of Popular Love Songs

NEW YORK - "America's Beloved Tenor" Daniel Rodriguez will receive the first Raul Julia Award from Raul's widow, Merle. The Puerto Rican Family Institute will hold its 43rd Gala at Pier 60, Chelsea Piers in N.Y. Reception: 6:30 pm; dinner: 7:30 pm. The award is bestowed on individuals who in their deeds and in partnership with their corporate offices have made a difference in the lives of the families they serve.

Daniel Rodriguez has also been given the honor of recording "On This Day" for the National Moment of Remembrance. The song, written by Charles Strouse, was done for the White House Commission on Remembrance. Daniel's performance of this song honoring America's fallen heroes will air this Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th at 3:00 pm local time with images of America's heroes on Jumbotrons across America, from major league ballparks, Amtrak stations, shopping malls, and airports to other numerous events across the nation.

This Memorial Day, Monday, May 26 at 3:00 pm local time, the song will be aired on Jumbo Trons with the images of the America's fallen heroes, in major league ballparks, Amtrak stations, shopping malls, airports and numerous events around the nation. This Moment of Remembrance "One Nation, One Moment" puts "Memorial" back into Memorial Day.

Rodriguez's new album, From My Heart, captures the passion and romance of his seductive voice. His first CD, The Spirit of America, consoled and inspired the nation after 9/11.

Rodriguez begins and ends From My Heart with tributes to one of his earliest inspirations, Mario Lanza. His rendition of "Be My Love," the single from the album, and his heartfelt version of "I'll Walk with God", are fitting tributes to the legendary tenor. From My Heart also includes the romantic Broadway gems, "She Was There," "Only You" and "If I Loved You."

For the first time, Rodriguez (whose parents hail from Puerto Rico) has recorded in Spanish, "Solamente Una Vez" and the popular "Jurame" delivered in his unique with spice and flair. Rounding out the album is the classic "Con Te Partiro (Time To Say Goodbye)" and "The Prayer." Daniel Rodriguez is currently on tour of the U.S.
