Puerto Ricans Serving In The US Armed Forces
The proud history of Puerto Ricans serving in the U.S. armed forces is reviewed in a new Herald series of short videos appearing over the next several months. The first, available this week, displays American conflicts in which her citizens from Puerto Rico lent their strength, courage and sacrifice.
Subsequent videos will showcase Puerto Rico’s four Medal of Honor winners, the famed 65th Infantry division and other aspects of the service of over 200,000 U.S. citizens of Puerto Rico who have worn the uniform of our country and followed its flag into combat when it was required.
